Topps Triple Threads Hobby Boxes

The Triple Thread line was created a high end line of cards by Topps, used to showcase game worn pieces of uniforms in their cards.  The latest incarnation of the Topps Triple Threads football cards have some hobbyist upset as Topps has gone a bit over the top in the design of these cards with the new book layout for some cards, as can be seen below.


Just as in every Topps football set, the rookie cards are once again the focus of this set.  Like previous sets, this set will consist of 100 cards from veterans and historic players, and a collection of 34 rookies cards with various parallels.  Topps is guaranteeing that every hobby box will contain one triple thread card per pack and one autographed triple thread autographed relic card.

Although Topps has introduced some variety to this years set, including new Jumbo Plus relic cards, the set is not much different than in years past.  Look for a release date of around November for these cards.  It might be worth it to pick up a box of these, if you are a fan of the relic cards, but this is not our favorite set from Topps this year.
